What this site does not do
No tracking, no advertising, no audience measurement. We use no analytics tools such as Google Analytics and embed no fonts, maps, videos or counting pixels from third parties. That is why there is no consent banner — there would be nothing to consent to.
Whose data we process
- Visitors to this website
- People who write to us or book an appointment
- Customers and business partners
- Job applicants
- People who contact us through social networks
When you visit
The web server records the usual technical details: address requested, time, volume transferred, browser identification and IP address. This is necessary for secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The records are deleted after a short period.
Cookies
We use only technically necessary cookies. They store no personal data and exist solely so that the site works. You can disable cookies in your browser; individual functions will then be limited.
When you write to us
We process your name, your email address and what you tell us, solely in order to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). To keep the form from being abused by machines, we briefly record your IP address.
When you book an appointment
For the intro call we process your name, your email address, the slot you chose and what you tell us about your situation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You receive a confirmation with a calendar entry and a link that lets you cancel at any time without signing in.
The booking runs on our own server. No external scheduling service is involved and your details go to nobody else.
How long we keep it
Only as long as needed for the purpose or required by law. Enquiries and bookings are deleted automatically afterwards. If you withdraw consent, we delete the associated data.
Disclosure
We pass your data on only where the law permits it or you have consented. Any transfer outside the EU takes place only where an adequate level of protection is ensured.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Your rights
You have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing and withdraw consent at any time. Write to office@companion.at.
If you wish to complain, the Austrian Data Protection Authority is at Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb@dsb.gv.at.
The applications are covered separately
This policy concerns the website. How data is handled inside fact, atrium and learn is governed by the data processing agreement with your organisation. A list of every service provider involved, with processing location, is part of it and reaches you before signing.
