An answer becomes a deck with the layouts, footers and fonts of your organisation. Open the file in PowerPoint afterwards and you can carry on as normal.
What if we have several templates?
Then there are several: a house default, a personal one per user and one per document. They are resolved in that order.
Do headers and footers survive?
Yes, including the date field and slide number. The common libraries drop exactly those placeholders.
